Driftwood Spa-Hot Tub-Massage Chair #5

Really wanted to like it, but…. Positive: Location was okay. Very quiet. Negative: This review only applies to Unit #5. I was looking forward to our stay even though for only one night. It’s kind of cute, has dishes, a small fridge, toaster, Kuerig, small stove and microwave, coffee pods provided tasted off or stale. The wi-fi is mediocre at best as it kept dropping off. Bathroom is tiny, as is the shower. Husband went to use the hot tub but only lasted about 3 minutes as the chlorine was so intense he had to get out (and we have owned hot tubs for over 20 years). Plus, the carport is nothing like the pictures and seemed dark and dreary. But, our biggest objection was the bed. It is dismal. Has no support and trying to get out at night and maneuver around the massage chair (gimmick) to get to the bathroom was a real challenge. Sell the massage chair and buy a better bed. As mentioned, we really wanted to like it but after paying over $400 for one night including cleaning and taxes, it just wasn’t at all what we expected. Maybe the other units are better, but not #5. Sadly, we won’t be going back.

Beautiful view and a nice hot tub and massage chair. Felt it seemed smaller.than advertised, the fridge was dorm sized, and the beach was not sandy so not really a beach you could sit at. No AC but the weather was cool so it wasn't needed. Overall it was a nice stay.

Planning to stay again. Positive: Location. Negative: Nothing.

Amazing place. Lovely quiet location right on waterfront. Hot tub is a lovely bonus! Big back yard grassed common area for pooches to play. Comfortable bed and massage chair was a real treat. Thank you.
